There was an uneasy truce on Ugwuogo Nike-Nsukka Express, Enugu State on Sunday.

Amidst all of these, the Enugu State Police Command spokesman Daniel Ndukwe gave no response to the questions about the incident.

“My friend was almost kidnapped too but he managed to escape. ” The street in which this incident occurred has become a flashpoint for kidnappings and all manner of criminality.
In September 2022, kidnappers blocked the road around the Ekwegbe axis and abducted an unspecified number of road users with police claiming that two victims were later rescued.
