The Chief of Staff to Governor of Enugu state Dr. Festus Uzor has picked the nomination of the House of Representatives for the Udi/Ezeagu federal constituency.
The former State Chairman of the party Engr Vita Abba, was elected and he will be flying the party’s flag for Nsukka/Igboeze South Federal Constituency.
For the Federal Constituency of Udi/Ezeagu, former Chief of Staff of Enugu staff, Dr.FSA Uzor emerged victorious amidst other candidates in the contest, scoring ninety-nine votes from about one hundred and twenty-two votes.
Mr. Agana Afamefuna and Barr. Ode Adanma came second with each 8 vote.
Dr. Pat Asadu, a member representing the Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South Federal Constituency will not return to the green room because his efforts to seize party tickets were unsuccessful.
Pat Asadu lost his ticket for a fifth term offer to the former PDP chairman in Enugu State, Chief Vita Abba.
Pharm Nnoli Nnaji, A member representing the Federal Constituencies of East and West Nkanu, also won his ticket to return to Parliament.
