The Senator representing Abia North, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, has felicitated with Chief Okali Kalu Ubaka on the occasion of his 85th birthday, describing him as a shining example of fatherhood, integrity, and dedicated service to humanity.
In a goodwill message on Tuesday, Senator Kalu praised the octogenarian father of ABN TV Director, Mr. Ifeanyi Okali, for his selfless contributions to family, community, and national growth. He noted that Chief Ubaka’s life is one marked by wisdom, humility, and a deep sense of responsibility.
“Chief Okali is a rare example of what it means to be a good father and elder statesman. His 35 years of meritorious service to the nation and his dignified retirement reflect the values of discipline, honesty, and unwavering commitment,” Senator Kalu stated.
The former Governor of Abia State also commended Chief Ubaka for raising children who are responsible, accomplished, and playing vital roles in building the nation. He particularly acknowledged the achievements of Mr. Ifeanyi Okali, describing them as a direct reflection of the strong moral foundation laid by his father.
While celebrating Chief Ubaka, Senator Kalu also used the opportunity to reaffirm his own belief in purposeful leadership. He noted that just as Chief Ubaka led with integrity in his personal and public life, leaders across all spheres must strive to live by example.
