In a strategic move to bolster his media and publicity team, Hon. Engr. Anayo Befford Onwuegbu, the Hon. Member representing Aninri/Awgu/Oji River Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, has appointed Mr. Orjiako Sam as his Chief Spokesman and Head of Publicity.
Mr. Orjiako Sam, a highly accomplished media professional, boasts an impressive academic background with a Masters Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelors of Arts in Mass Communication from the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka. With over two decades of experience in the media industry, he brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.
Prior to his recent appointment, Mr. Orjiako Sam served as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NewsGlobal Communications Limited, renowned publishers of NewsGlobal Magazine, NewsGlobal Celebrities, and NewsGlobal Online. His tenure at the helm of the organization saw significant growth and influence in the media landscape.
Before venturing into private practice, Mr. Orjiako Sam had a distinguished career in the public sector, retiring as the Manager of News and Current Affairs from the Kebbi State Television Service. His extensive experience in both public and private media organizations positions him as a seasoned professional capable of navigating the complexities of contemporary media dynamics.
