Nigerian gospel artist Chinedu Nwadike is dead.
He died of blood cancer after recovering from kidney failure.
A tweet from Darlington Chidera Ibekwe said, “Popular Gospel Artist, Chinedu Nwadike, just passed away.”He lost the blood cancer battle a few hours ago in Abuja. When I spoke to him over the phone last week, he told me he had fully recovered from the kidney issue and would be proceeding to India by this coming week.

Evangelist Chinedu Nwadike, former dancer to Igbo Gospel singer Gozie Okeke and special assistant to mobilize former Governor Imo Rochas Okorocha, suffered from chronic kidney disease months ago.
Since then, he has been seeking funds to treat his ill health. The singer asked all Nigerians to help him so he can survive the life-threatening illness.
He was taken to Zenith Medical Center in Abuja, where he was currently receiving treatment.
Some celebrities such as billionaire entrepreneur Emeka Okonkwo aka E-money donated N250,000 for treatment, while well-known local doctor Akwa Okuko donated N1 million for treatment.
