Newsglobal gathered that there was an arrest of not less than sixty-one political thugs suspect at the All Progressives Congress(APC) campaign being held in the state.
SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, Spokesman of the command made this known in a statement
He said the police ensured a peaceful election process and all forms of crime, especially the menace of political thuggery were placed under control.
“Thirty-three knives, eight cutlasses, four scissors, one parcel 117;wraps of dried leaves suspected to be Indian Hemp, three bottles of suck and die, 500 pieces of suspected Exol tablets and bunch of charms were recovered from the suspects ”
Concluding his statement he said the suspects will be charged to court for prosecution.
