The Most Popular and widely accepted Nigeria Presidential Hopeful, come 2023, Mr. Peter Obi has visited the ancient city of Kano in consultation with the royal father, Emir of Kano, HRH Alh. Aminu Ado Bayaro .

 

Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party Presidential candidate’s visit, to the Emir of Kano, His Royal Highness Aminu Ado Bayero, on Saturday 24th, September, was a big assurance to the youth and progressive minded Nigerians that their wish to have a credible, competent and globally accepted leader who will salvage Nigeria from total collapse is assured come 2023.

Peter Obi in company of his running mate, Yusuf Baba-Ahmed were received with joy by majority of Nigerians, who saw the need to get out of the griped-fangs of the deadly oligarchy (government by the few) that has been in control of Nigeria.

While celebration, happiness and whisperings that at last, the messiah has come, filled the atmosphere in Kano metropolis, it was clear that the beneficiaries of corruption ridden-government and bad leadership in Nigeria were not comfortable, but unfortunately their time is over.

Some Kano indigenes who spoke to NewsGlobal, Alh. Mohammed Adamu and Mal. Garba Yakassi described Obi’s visit as an reassurance to them, to intensify enlightenment on the credibility, commitment and competence of Peter Obi presidency come 2023.

However, Obi through his official handle, tweeted about the visit and said, “Very useful constructive discussions” were held with the monarch, including the fire incident in Kano and the recent flooding in the North”.

A source privy to Peter Obi and Emir’s discussion at the palace disclosed to NewsGlobal that the royal father expressed confidence in Peter Obi’s leadership ability to lead Nigeria out of the economic difficulty that faced it today.

Before leaving Kano State, Mr. Peter Obi and his entourage also visited the Emir of Gaya, His Royal Highness, Alh. Aliyu Ibrahim.
