Patients and workers of Osun State University Teaching Hospital Osogbo, were filled with terror as hoodlums invaded the premises of the hospital to demand for the corpse they earlier dumped at the morgue on Tuesday.
Newsglobal gathered that the hoodlums, arrived on motorcycles Tuesday and dumped the corpse of one of them who was killed in Osogbo at the hospital.
They demanded the corpse be released to them without any documentation.
Atmosphere was charged when the personnel they approached, whose name could not be immediately ascertained, told them they would have to fill some documents.
The thugs became provoked at the point and they began to openly display charms, threatening to cause chaos, unless the corpse was released to them.
The police operatives later arrived the hospital and forced the hoodlums out of the premises.
Dr. Babatunde Afolabi, Chairman of Medical Advisory Committee of the Hospital, gave a his word of reassurance that the hospital was in safe hands.
He said: “The matter has been rested, they have done the coroner for the corpse. So, they have taken the body out for burial.”
