The Zambia Football Association has confirmed the death of Confederation of Africa Football’s medical doctorJoseph Kabungo, who died at Abiola MKO Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday.
Newsglobal gathered that Kabungo was confirmed dead after the World Cup play-off between Nigeria and Ghana
The Nigerian Football Federation said, on Wednesday, that Kabungo died of a heart attack.
Kabungo was CAF’s doping control officer for the second qualifying match between rivals West Africa for the 2022 World Cup final in Qatar.
