Manchester United and Bayern Munich have agreed on deals involving Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui.

Premier League powerhouse Manchester United has reached an agreement with German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich to acquire Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui. United, who had been searching for defensive reinforcements, initially signed Leny Yoro. However, after the youngster suffered a foot injury that will sideline him for three months, the club is now close to finalizing deals for De Ligt and Mazraoui. A deal worth €45+5m (£38.6+4.3m) has reportedly been agreed upon for the 24-year-old Dutch center-back, who will join on a five-year contract with an option for a sixth. Meanwhile, a move for 26-year-old Mazraoui is nearly complete, with Bayern accepting a bid of €15+5m (£12.87+4.3m)
