Kebbi Governor’s Aide Suspended for Bringing Snake to Government House.
The Kebbi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended Alhaji Kabir Sani-Giant, the Special Adviser to Governor Nasir Idris on Power and Politics, for allegedly bringing a snake to the Government House.
In a statement issued on Sunday, APC Secretary Alhaji Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba announced the immediate suspension of Sani-Giant, citing the February 8, 2025, incident as a breach of the party’s constitution.
According to the statement, Sani-Giant’s actions caused fear and intimidation among dignitaries, statesmen, and government officials, which the party deemed both offensive and embarrassing.
His suspension will remain in effect pending further investigation, with possible disciplinary measures, including expulsion, if the offense is repeated.
