Israeli jets caused loud sonic booms during a speech by Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

In his first address since two pager-and-radio attacks killed dozens in Lebanon, Nasrallah stated that Israel had crossed all “red lines.”

He warned that the attacks might be considered “a declaration of war.”

However, his much-anticipated speech was interrupted by sonic booms from low-flying Israeli jets resonating across Beirut.

Moments before he started, the IDF confirmed airstrikes on several Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon.

Nasrallah referred to the remote-controlled detonation of thousands of communication devices as a “massacre.”

“Explosions occurred in hospitals, pharmacies, markets, shops, homes, cars… in streets crowded with civilians, women, and children,”  said.

He also expressed hope for an Israeli invasion of southern Lebanon, calling it a “historic opportunity” for Hezbollah.

“The enemy will face severe and just punishment from expected and unexpected places,” Nasrallah concluded.
