Grace Adayilo Becomes FCT’s First Female and Indigene Head of Service

Mrs. Grace Adayilo’s appointment as the Head of Service of the Federal Capital Territory marks a historic milestone, not just for women, but also for Abuja’s indigenes. As the first female and first indigene to hold this prestigious role, Adayilo’s leadership journey symbolizes progress and inclusivity in the nation’s capital. With her commitment to President Tinubu’s “Hope Agenda,” Adayilo’s tenure promises to usher in efficient governance and inspire pride across the FCT.

 

In a groundbreaking appointment, Mrs. Grace Adayilo has made history as the first female and first indigene of Abuja to become the Head of Service of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). She takes over from Dr. Atang Udo Samuel, who lauded her for her administrative acumen and assured that she is more than capable of excelling in her new role.

 

Prior to this, Mrs. Adayilo served as the Permanent Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development. During her handover ceremony, she expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the FCT Minister, Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike. She pledged to align with the President’s “Hope Agenda,” promising to deliver on her mandate and make Nigerians proud
