Anambra State Environment Commissioner, Dr. Felix Odimegwu, has lauded President Bola Tinubu for his commitment to providing ecological assistance to address the state’s gulley erosion crisis, repair neglected roads, enhance rail infrastructure, and resolve gas roadmap challenges. Speaking during the commissioning of the Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo legacy project in Awka, Anambra State, Dr. Odimegwu expressed his appreciation to President Tinubu for acknowledging the state’s significant gas reserves and for pledging to address Anambra’s exclusion from the National Gas Master Plan. He attributed the President’s visit and his assurances to the visionary leadership of Governor Soludo, who remains dedicated to transforming Anambra into a modern and habitable state.

During his visit to Anambra, President Tinubu pledged federal support to address critical developmental issues, including controlling erosion, optimizing gas resources, and incorporating Anambra into the National Rail Master Plan. He further reassured the state’s residents of the federal government’s commitment to improving road infrastructure and promoting national unity through inclusive development.

The President’s promises mark the beginning of a new era of collaboration and growth for Anambra State and the broader Southeast region, with an emphasis on advancing infrastructure and ensuring environmental sustainability.
