An operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) took his own life at his residence in Abuja on Monday.
The deceased, whose identity remains undisclosed, was part of Course 5 at the EFCC academy.
The EFCC spokesperson commented that an investigation is currently underway to uncover the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
The agency is considering various factors that may have contributed to the suicide, including mental health issues and family challenges.
The Commission stated it would withhold the operative’s name and further details until the investigation is complete.
