Delta State wins National Sports Festival 2024 Gateway Games Champions for the fifth time in a row.
Hon. Onoriode Oborevwori of the Delta State Sports Commission praised Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for supporting athletes through the “MORE Agenda.”
At the Gateway Games 2024 in Ogun State, Team Delta earned 122 gold, 96 silver, and 105 bronze medals, making 323 medals in all.

Bayelsa State came second with 92 gold, 62 silver, and 70 bronze (224 total), while host Ogun State was third with 90 gold, 64 silver, and 78 bronze (232 total).
