Customs intercepts cocaine worth N3 billion, petroleum products in Seme

Seme Area Command of the Nigerian Customs Service has intercepted 11,913kg of cocaine, believed to be worth N3,916,624,147.00. Customs Public Relations Officer, Seme Command, DSC Hussaini Abdullahi, revealed this in a statement.

He said Area Command on Wednesday also intercepted 1,065 jerry cans of petroleum products with Import Duty Value N10,041,198.00.

Customs Regional Supervisor, Compt. Bello Mohammed Jibo stressed that the offensive crackdown on the activities of petroleum smugglers is on the mission of capturing them wherever they are.

He assured that the Command would continue to make life uncomfortable for unpatriotic Nigerians who trade illegal businesses in the area.
