Nigeria vs Ghana: FG orders closure of Abuja offices 1pm Tuesday

The Federal Government on Monday night ordered the closure of a government-owned office in Abuja on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 1 pm to support the Super Eagles World Cup qualifying match against the Black Stars of Ghana.

 

This was contained in a memo by the Office of the Head of Civil Service Federation.

FG stressed the need to mobilize support for Super Eagles. “As you know, Nigerian super eagles will meet Ghana’s black stars in the continued 2022 World Cup qualifiers, playoffs (return matches).

There is a need to mobilize support for the Nigerian Team. Therefore, I submit that all offices will close on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 1 pm, “the memo read in part.

Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Tuesday night in the most anticipated and potentially explosive meeting in 71 years of competition, 58 matches of the two countries, after the opening 90 minutes at Kumasi on Friday ended goalless.
