Prof. Charles Soludo from Anambra State has initiated a movement to end the ‘Sit at Home’ every Monday, in Anambra State.
This is contained in a circular dated March 25, 2022 signed by the Head of Service, Barr. Theodora Igwegbe.
In the letter, Anambra State Executive Governor Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR directed that all public servants in the state subsequently report at their workplace on Monday.
Absence of work on Mondays or other days without approval should be seen as a serious offense which will result in appropriate sanctions.
Monday’s seats have refused to end in some Southeast Countries such as Enugu, Anambra and Abia Countries where compliance continues to be recorded.
IMO State Capital and Ebonyi have been able to ensure compliance with the framework in some parts of the State while normal activities have been restored in and around the state capitals Owerri and Abakaliki.
