A large presidential campaign billboard bearing the name and image of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has appeared in Abuja, the nation’s capital. Osinbajo, a member of the ruling All Progressive Congress, served his second and final four-year term as Vice President alongside the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd .).
Newsglobal observed that the campaign banner affixed to a bridge at a strategic location in the Central Area of Abuja was a picture of Osinbajo.
Although there was no party name or logo written on the large banner, it had a group’s name, ‘Progressive Project 2023’ as a sponsor.
There has been speculation that Osinbajo may be interested in contesting the 2023 presidential election. This is because the APC’s national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is also said to be considering taking part in the election.
